Piazza S. Stefano
L’esistenza della chiesa di S. Stefano è testimoniata sin dal 1253. L’edificio, in stile romanico, nel tempo ha subito un ampliamento e la facciata è stata rifatta nel Settecento; sulla fiancata laterale rimane la porta originaria a tutto sesto, sorretto da stipiti trapezoidali ornati di decori romanici. La porta è vegliata da due teste di lepre in pietra mentre sull’arco sono scolpiti un S. Michele Arcangelo e una Croce. L’interno si presenta a navata unica sovrastata da un soffitto a volta ed è ornato da un fonte battesimale scolpito del XIV secolo, da un affresco di Paolo Bontulli del 1521 e da un tabernacolo ligneo seicentesco.

The church of S. Stefano has been documented since 1253. The building, of Romanesque style, has been enlarged, and the façade was rebuilt in the 1700s. The original door is on one side, supported by trapezoidal frames decorated with Romanesque motifs. The door is guarded by the sculpted heads of two hares, and the figure of S. Michele Arcangelo and the Cross are sculpted on the arch. The interior has a single nave with vaulted ceilings and is embellished with a baptismal font sculpted in the XIV Century, a fresco dated 1521 by Paolo Bontulli and a wooden 17th Century tabernacle.
