La parrocchiale di S. Maria Assunta, costruita nel Trecento in stile gotico, ma completamente rimaneggiata agli inizi del Novecento, conserva oltre ad affreschi di Paolo da Visso, eseguiti nel XV secolo, alcuni affreschi di pittori della Valnerina: il Cristo crocifisso, la Vergine e S. Giovanni Battista è opera degli Angelucci da Mevale. Dietro l’altare maggiore la grande tavola con importante cornice che sovrasta il coro, raffigurante l’Assunzione, fu eseguita nel 1584 da Camillo e Fabio Angelucci. In sacrestia sono sistemati numerosi reperti del IX secolo.
The parish church of S. Maria Assunta, built in Gothic style in the 1300s, was completely renovated at the beginning of the 20th Century. It houses XV Century frescoes by Paolo da Visso, and others by anonymous painters from Valnerina: Christ on the cross, the Virgin and St. John the Baptist (by the Angeluccis of Mevale). Behind the main altar, a large panel with a complex frame overhangs the choir. It depicts the Assumption and was executed in 1584 by Camillo and Fabio Angelucci. Numerous pieces from the IX Century are displayed in the sacristy.
